HI, I work in a MC doing W C M deep cleaning am IMP but managers keep saying stop doing that we need you too bag tip ect. can thay do that or do thay have to leave you to get on

Am I reading this right, you are doing something to do with World Class Mailing and management are taking you from it. :shock: :shock: :shock:

Oh the answer is - Yes.

They can ask you to do anything reasonable during your normal working hours. If they take you from one task, which you cannot now complete within your scheduled hours, then advise them and let them make the decision.

easy solution mate. tell them to shove their world class mail up their rear ends. if you help royal mail with world class mail you are killing your own job!!!! they just want to reduce hours and do away with duties. get out of it now

They strip the machine down, refurb it, clean it etc, take it back to how it was when new (and then it ends up running worse).

WCM is actually good as to get it to work they're going to have to put more hours and duties in

Generally they run worse because all the knocking around polishing and painting from floor staff actually makes bugger all difference to the running of a machine, instead it unseats components and disrupts wiring looms. Although they do look nice and shiny afterwards.

What should be done is a complete re-wire of the entire machine at the same time. Taking it back to new just seems to imply paintwork, belts and rollers, I'm sure when they were new we didn't use 25 year old knackered electrical systems.

Have to agree with buster01 get out of this farce now. For the millions that have put into it and weve got very little in return. management just keeping themselves in a job.
