cutting off and redelivering

Reserve cuts off and leaves mail and packets in drop box. Duty holder returns from work the next day and is told by manager to box that mail
with that days work and deliver it/not happy about it but told by manager to do it.
Next day same thing happens on another duty but this time manager gets someone else to deliver the mail that was left and duty holder doesnt have to do it.
Can you tell me what the rules are supposed to be regarding this/thanks

no rules as such just that manager needs to get it delivered, if you can within your time, then you do if he asks if you cant within your time then follow correct cut off procedure
