Clarification of role, please

Hi, I have been offered and accepted a role as a Collections and Network Driver working 40 hours a week. The website I initially applied on is a Royal Mail Careers website. The contract is shown as temporary - 3 months.
Can anybody clarify the following, please.

Is the role with Royal Mail as opposed to Angard ?
If I complete the role satisfactorily I assume it becomes a rolling 3 month contract ?
Is there any long term security as long as I keep my nose clean?

Is there anything else I need to take into account before I start?

Thanks in advance. I have my induction and start date at the end of the month.

If I complete the role satisfactorily I assume it becomes a rolling 3 month contract ? Possibly but do not assume it will.
Is there any long term security as long as I keep my nose clean? I do not think there is any long term security at the moment

Is there anything else I need to take into account before I start? Have you received confirmation your security checks are successful?

Quick update, I received a contract this morning on behalf of Royal Mail Group Ltd, offering 40 hours a week , fixed term contract for operational postal grade. It's a fixed term contract for approx 3 months stating 'it is anticipated the requirement for your employment is likely to cease on or about the expiry date because of business organisation'.

My security checks have come back as passed.

I have been going through this process for months, is it likely after all this time I will only end up working for 3 months and not getting it continued even on a rolling contract ?

nothings ever guaranteed but if its anything like delivery you will be on a rolling contract for 2years.also if its anything like delivery your manager will constantly remind you that if you don't perform to their standards then they may not renew your contract, but they usually do.

These contracts are a joke! I'm on 30 hours 6 months fixed, I work just as many hours as the full timers yet don't receive all the benefits. Up until now I've not really been bothered as long as all my overtime is paid, I like the job, but now I'm trying to get a mortgage! Nightmare!
I'm earning enough along with my partners income, have saved for years for a deposit, no problem, ,but, I've been advised we will probably fail because of these stupid contracts and the stupid statements about employment ceasing at the end of contract!
We are constantly under staffed, currently recruiting another 2 members of staff, have a new estate with 300+ houses being built and not a single part time round in the office! If our mortgage application fails I'm really going to resent this job and this psss take of a company! Time to start pimping my cv out

The specific role I have applied and been accepted for is "collections and Network Driver'. I'm wondering if RM go through all this process just to say bye bye after only 3 months. I'm not worried about 3 month contracts as long as they are renewed, fortunately I have got my mortgage already.

That's a bog standard clause that means nothing.
It's a legal requirement for a fixed term contract to state a likely expiry date and likely reason for expiry.
Very few FTC's in Royal Mail are not renewed...but there are obviously no guarantees.

I've been on 3 months fixed term contracts for over a year now. Just keep ya head down, do ya job and what happens happens.
