summer lapse?

When should you take your part of the lapsed round with you, on the way to your normal duty or come back then take it out?.

Different offices have different rules, I guess.

In ours, as long as it gets done, they don't care whether you do it before or after your own duty.

I always used to do it after to give me more time for my specials.

(Thankfully, lapsing is a thing of the past for me following our revision)

Take the lapsing with him when he leaves the office to commence delivery

or

Leave the office to commence 'main delivery,' return to iffice when completed and collect lapsing.

if you don't have time leave it in the frame and inform a manager that you won't be taking it. If you do have time then take it but do not bring it back.

we have no set rule.
If we have room we take it out with us so we can get to it straight after our delivery, if not we come back for it.
if we're sure we wont be able to do it we inform the Dom and leave it.

recently our new DOM has starting making those who finish early take out anything that has been left, strangely enough more people have started to leave it with the intention of coming back for it and the runners are getting more and more pissed off

We were told before our revision that the rounds would be made bigger and nobody would have to lapse any more......................

For the last 2 months we have been lapsing Every single day between 1 and 4 rounds,Dirty bullshitters and a pathetic CW Union rep, EDITED BY POSTMAN I hope he reads this,GROW SOME BALLS EDITED BY POSTMAN AND LOOK AFTER YOUR MEMBERS!!!!

Right so as long as you get to name someone and slag them off that's ok then.

The point is that the consequences of you naming someone, without their permission, and using abusive terms, could easily be that this is site shut down and Postman and you dismissed or even appearing in court trying to defend yourselves against a claim for slander.

Yes it may have worked this time, but the rules are not there to piss you off, they are there to protect the site from being closed down. This site is a lot more important to members from all points of the compass than just becoming a personal sounding board for angry posties.

Ultimately you accepted the rules when you joined if you can't abide by them then don't post - the choice is as simple as that.
