been here for 8 months on a 3 month rolling contract, what would happen if i were to take a few days ill? i've been a bit bad recently but i carry on and act normal because i'm worried about not having my contract renewed.. this happened a few years ago (different job) and i had to take three days sick because of the problems, they were fine with it, but not sure how rm will react?

I can understand your fears mate,but if you are sick then you do need time to recover..go see your doctor..get a sick note..and any manager worth his or hers salt should accept you are genuinely poorly.

You don't get paid for sickness unless you've been there a year (on rolling contract anyway!). So it would be unpaid. Still goes through there sickness procedure though, i.e. stage warnings blah blah. Wouldn't get one for being sick once though. I was sick on rolling 3 month contract twice in 18 months, it happens. As it gets near christmas they will renew anyway right. Either that or use casuals omg.
