Hi everybody!
I'm new here and was wondering if you chaps could lend me some advice. I'm about to move from Cornwall to East London and they've stopped internal transfers!? I phoned a few offices and no one seems to be picking up (no one does at ours either so it's not a HUGE surprise, busy days). Was wondering if anyone here had any sweet advice or, even better, already worked over that way and would say something like:
"hey buddy, yeah, we've got loads of jobs up here, come on up"
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe you can't transfer into London because the mail centre rationalisation plan may leave some mail centre workers needing to return to deliveries - so the vacancies are reseved for them - if that needs to happen - ever.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to move from Cornwall to east facking landan!lol 
I go down now and again to see the Hammers....but would never work or live there mate...each to their own i suppose,but Cornwall is stunning...landan...nah...it's that dirty even the rats are wearing overalls nowadays!

Aren't we near the end of the MC bollox,i know mine has shut down.
Keep bumping the thread,i know we've some eastenders on,not that Masood though,from that program that nobody watches.

cheers for the responses all. I know it seems a bit bonkers but, honestly... Cornwall can be pretty dull for an exciting young whipper snapper like myself. 
Felt like was about to retire from life down here, all my pals moved up long ago and I'm up there a lot anyway. it's been a long time coming.
Did some phoning around today, was nice to hear some friendly voices around the country, was led to believe everyone outside of Kernow was evil and angry. We don't leave the village much...
Anyway, will keep updating here and if anyone has any advice or information, it would be greatly appreciated.
