pay increase?

hi there been in job over six months now, i thought after six months i should have a pay rise.
The other fixed term lad who started a few weeks after me seems to think the same thing as well can anyone confirm this or not.

You should get a pay rise of about 50p-odd an hour, and then another after a year in the job.

Well I was under the same impression

The same one where I was supposed to be on £8.08 p/h when I am actually on £9 odd...

Having no actual hourly rate on my payslip doesn't help a lot but I get quite a lot of money every week so thats good enough for me.

If you're in an office where the full-timers do 39 hours, your hourly rate, after a year's service, would be about £10.11, so somewhere in the region of £9 as a newbie doesn't sound wrong. I know once our revision is in, our pay goes up to about that rate, to bring us in line with the de facto rise in full-timers hourly rate.

AFAIK its done centrally not locally so it should change automatically. Best thing to do is look at the pay rate on your pay slip and compare it to one from a few weeks ago. It should have gone up.

Ive been with them for over 5 years and get £9.54 am hour I am 32.5 hours a week, should I be on more?, we had our revision/park and loop a year ago, had 2 payments not sure If we are still owed 1 more not sure if the full time staff are on 39 week?.
