Hello girls and boys. Please can some one shed some light for me. I've been offered a job with royal mail, I received a call from a lady saying I've been accepted an my induction is on the 28 of August. I then got the email with the attachments to sign an return. How ever it says to sign a copy of my contract attatched and return, but there is no contract for me to sign on the attachments on the email. I've emailed back to the sender of the email but to no avail.

Contact nd send back with provided envolope.
It's a email so there is no envolope.

You should receive two copies of your contract in the post. One for you to keep and one to sign and send back

I got a 12 month contract, never signed it or sent it off, then a 3 month - same again. If any one asked me "must be lost in the post"

I'm guessing your induction date is your first day. Your contract will probably be sent in the post to you, two copies, sign one and send it back. In fact I'm guessing all the info will be sent in the post, remembering back their website/email stuff is a bit dated/confusing. Does the email not say it will be sent to you in the post? When I first joined it took them 2 months to send me out my contract. Had to keep phoning HR countless times and they didn't know what happened to it. Turned out someone hadn't ticked a box on a screen.

Yeah it does say that it will be sent out by post and to sign an return. I was just wondering is this before I actually start work as I have another 2 weeks before I start. The reason why I'm asking this is I'm moving an I've had to redirect my mail temporary until I can meet my manager an explain an change me address.

Yeah you could get it anytime, if you're lucky even before you start. If a redirection is in place and you have moved then it SHOULD get to you lol. If you don't get it, or think it is lost or sent to the wrong address, just phone RM HR and tell em to send another one to you.
