Return to work interviews

Post by BillyPosty »

I had a bit of time off recently with an ongoing thing which I've had for a number of years. At the return to work interview the questions you get asked seem very nosey and they want to know everything. How much detail do you actually have to give? It's not really a problem but I'd rather come back and get on with things rather than go over the whole scenario again to some nosey Manager.

none is correct but what if it ever gets to a stage 3 dismissal and you put your case across as to not be dismissed? you'll be asked why you didn't tell them in your earlier RTW's.

Correct. :Applause
See Equality Act Code Of Practice.
6.20
The Act does not prevent a disabled person keeping a disability confidential
from an employer. But keeping a disability confidential is likely to mean that
unless the employer could reasonably be expected to know about it anyway,
the employer will not be under a duty to make a reasonable adjustment. If a
disabled person expects an employer to make a reasonable adjustment, they
will need to provide the employer – or someone acting on their behalf – with
sufficient information to carry out that adjustment.
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.
