Looking for part-time posty job - Redditch

I noticed a few jobs in Birmingham, but nothing yet in Redditch, this is going on the Royal Mail website.

I am looking for something like 10am - 2 pm, are these normal part-time hours, or can it just vary.

Also looking for any other advice! Do all jobs go on the website, or is it a case of knowing people on the inside, if you know what I mean!

Not all go on the website, best to keep an eye out in local Job Centre and papers. Also if you know a local postie they can sometimes give you an early heads up.

Not all go on the website, best to keep an eye out in local Job Centre and papers. Also if you know a local postie they can sometimes give you an early heads up.

You mean leaflet delivering - not in Royal Mail.

go to delivery office (where you collect parcels) and ask them for application form and apply for it, and you might have 6 months wait before getting a job or call depending on the demand.

No not sarcasm - a translation error perhaps - Door to Door is a product that we deliver for Royal Mail - I thought thats what you were asking about. Beyond that I am not sure what your asking as most posties delivering mail in the UK will over the next few years be working as a pair out of a van, or by using a large trolley if within 1mile of the office.

A lot, but by no means all, will be collecting mail as well - we call them hybrid duties. I think they will become more common rather than less.

Everything is done online, they have'nt had application forms for years.
