The Perfect Revision

I think we have the perfect revision strategy.

Remote location so no planners AND NO GEOROUTE!, we are allowed to plan duties based on OUR knowledge
Manager is on our side and knows his stuff
Full consultation with every member of staff.

RM are pushing to get it in quicker but manager is having none of it and we are doing it proper.

1st non failed revision maybe?

I'm actually looking forward to it!

BTW what do you guys do when the weather closes in and the mail can't get in from the mainland?

There is another office in the TN area that has a revision working, the union rep told the planners to F**K off and he done it with the local dom, it has been live for the last 5 weeks

When the weather is bad, we go out with local 2nd class and whatever comes in off the ferry (the aircraft can only carry 1600kg so any more gets sent to the ferry, usually 2c flats)

When it eventually comes in its sorted and prepped, then the next day delivered as normal.

I've experienced 2 cancellations so we had 3 days mail on the monday which was not a nice experience.

The flight has to be cancelled before 12pm so it can go to the ferry which arrives the next day as normal.

Its not ideal, and the flight is always delayed for some reason (today the captain was sick and the nearest reserve crew was 200 miles away)

The other day the plane went tech and was 2h late, its always foggy, and so on.

we are currently on the verge of abandoning most of what geo did and revising the failing revision with a table top revision. We are also going to make each loop only 25 mins not 45 and f***ing trolley use off. I know this isnt strictly toeing the line but after one year of this s**t we dont care, the model dosent work.

But does your revision involve shared vans ?

On the weather point; the fog has closed in overnight and our flight has been cancelled!
