Someone in my office broke down recently on park and loop they phoned the office and lo and behold the lazy managers did not answer the phone , he was walking back to the office when he eventually got through to them ,he ended up over his time and the next day when he tried to claim overtime they refused to pay him

It is a criminal offence to not pay overtime if it has been worked.
Ask for your mangers home address, when he say's why do you want that ? , just state that you are planning to take him personally & RM to the small claims court for not paying O/T and it would save time if you have his address now.

WARNING his expression might change during the conversation !

Back up your threat by producing a S.C.C. claim form that you got from citizens advice / local county court.

Watch that o/t claim form being signed double quick !

Going back to breakdowns again .
My partner the driver only parked by a drain today and dropped his keys down into it.
He was there for 40 minutes trying to fish it out amongst all the crud and crap but to no avail .
Dont think the DOM will find it funny and neither did I as tomorrow he will have to use my key.
Which leaves the question how do I get my bags out the van now with no key

I agree with you on that but some guys in the office are using their PDA to text managers and would you believe the managers ignore them as well

Going back to what I said earlier in this thread regarding my driver losing the van key down a drain, we went out on P/L with ONE KEY , never again.
I must have lost a good hour on delivery today in total waiting for the driver to finish his loop when usual ly I would get my bag out with my own key

Our office issues 2 keys one for the driver and one for the walker.
How else is the walker going to get his bags out of the van when the driver is doing his loop??

I've looked,the only thing in the drivers manual is if you break down contact your office ect and stay with the vehicle.
Nothing in there about going over your time.
