Hi, I wonder if you could give me some advice on how to proceed. I have been working for over a year for Parcelforce (Chelmsford) through an agency, and qualified for equal treatment in January 2012. Recently I was asked to spend three days at Romford depot, to learn delivery routes which will be handled from Chelmsford during the Olympics period. No mention was made of any variation in pay. I am now working back out of Chelmsford depot, doing the same job, under the same management etc, and discover that that my pay has been reset to £7.40 p/h I called the agency and they said that I was now being paid by Romford and that I was no longer entitled to equal pay. When I protested, they agency said "If you don't want to work, we can find someone else" I replied that I had not said that I did not want to work, only that I wanted my legal wages, they suggested that I take this up directly with Parcelforce!
Are different branches of PFW considered to be separate legal entities under the terms of the AWR's?
