My point is not wearing the correct clothing seems more important to the powers than using the correct tools for the job...I.E. a fecking TROLLEY!!!!

Cmon union 5% of my office using them management don't give a s**t ...coach not even showing new starters how to use them ffs.

It's not enforced because nobody gives a shite.
Most Posties don't like them as it takes a few extra minutes to get round and they can't have that.Time... tick a ticka time.
The managers are not bothered as the turds run round and make the Park and Loopy `work`and when somebody has a bad back they can bully them back into work using ATOSSERS and saying shite like "Well we told you to use a trolley."
The CWU are not arsed because they made a `good` deal with management and promoted the use of trolleys knowing that their members would ignore using them as soon as possible.(kind of like the use of cars at the time of job and finish. .)
Your local rep isn't arsed as he's looking after himself,no use rocking the boat over people using trolleys when there is a 4 day week to be had and a cushy number reading the paper,drinking loads of coffee and pretending he has a `hard` job handing out keys.

All over the place.
Was mentioned as a possibility in the CWU Delivery Blueprint:Foundations for a new delivery model in 2008 as a way to try and change the mindset of delivery staff but there were as many against it as for it so it was a non-starter.
That may have changed now and to be honest something will have to be done and quickly because otherwise this upper decile nonsense will crucify deliveries unless we can start getting staff to understand the damage they are doing.

Totally agree with Banner and Fishtank on this one ,they only problem I see with this is if you have a clocking in machine then Royal Mail would have to pay the early starters , I could not see Royal Mail accepting that after all why pay someone when they are willing to work for free

If your duty starts at say 6 in the morning and they come in early,by say an hour , RM will not pay you that hour.
