New Payment system

I came across a flaw today in the way we are being paid.

I rang my bank for some help with my online banking, it turns out as far as they are concerned I no longer work for Royal Mail, the weekly payment is made by whoever RM has employed to pay us.
So when asked which company paid me and how much, I got it wrong, and the person the other end refused to help me any more because I had failed a security question.

Not sure if this will affect anyone applying for loans or mortgage, but I'm fuming that RM are not even mentioned, and there is no mention on your payslip, plus we were not told this would be happening.

Yeah thats what it says on mine, but I didn't know that until after, I thought I was paid by Royal Mail !

With regards to what it says on your bank statements and it not saying RM...

Thanks for your note. I understand this is not possible with the current software package used. Although there are no plans to change it at this time, I have shared your comments for future consideration. For any queries about justifying earnings for example, any mortgage provider will write to HR Services for confirmation, which they will of course be happy to provide.

As in my previous post,RM say the can't change the 'UK EXCL CM AND W' to say Royal Mail Group ect.

I understand this is not possible with the current software package used.
