standing down mail.

the dom stood down a york full of mail today,,,,so that the lapsing could be done??? is this not a contradiction in itself? as i have pointed out before, lapsing is ''supposed'' to be brought in if we dont have enough work to take us to our allocated hours. if the york full of mail had of been put out for delivery then there would be enough work. can management be done for wilfull delay.?

Ordinary mail that was due out must be reported as a failure.

MS3 shouldn't be arriving at DOs now until the day it's due to be delivered. Very shortly MS3 will be processed in MCs the day before it's due for delivery and will be processed together with MS2. AFAIK the only mail not covered by the USO is packets.

We get MS3 labeled for various days, if there is time it's put through and if not then it's left until it's due and as for the packets, I think this is a misunderstanding about the USO, I'm sure someone has the direct link but most of the packets are due the day they come in.

The pay&modernisation agreement clearly states that absorption should not impact on Quality of Service.
Grass them up davey...along with the rest of the bollocks your managers get away with.
