Almost every day we read yet another apology from RM about poor service, but what is the actual cause of the problems? Be honest.

If anyone thinks of any other reasons, I'll try and add it to the poll.

You missed the underlying reason, the EU's liberalisation of the postal market which lead to the Labour gov. allowing DSA.
That was the real nail in RM's coffin.
Meanwhile all the other EU countries have deffered it's implementation.
