due repick within the next week for good old park n loop ? most dutys will have a finish time of 14.30 hrs which is good for most of us with kids to pick up from school,and 60-70 % of our small office will be made up to full time.we seem not to be favouring the 9 day fortnight at the moment,due to the very long working hours,most the office want to stay as we are different day off each week,my question is were do we stand on saturdays off after the start off park n loop currently have 1 in 6 off but will tis change to say 1 in 4 off ?

Providing there are enough posties to cover different shift rotations, there is no reason why your depot cannot have multiple patterns in operation like many other depots like mine...

FTers: 2 Sats in 6 off; rolling day off; 9 day fortnight; "Wallington week" (work 5? 6-day weeks and get the 6th? week off) etc.

Then the PTers (anything less than the 40 now later 39) covering days off for the above, for instance many 22.5 hours work 3 days a week (Mon, Tues, Sat).

No doubt multiple patterns are harder to achieve in a small depot, plus the ratio of FT:PT will affect things too.

It doesn't just happen,it has to be planned that way from the start and since you're at the repick stage and still have no idea i suspect you've been screwed over.
