Glasgow and District Amal
Why are Glasgow and District Amal agreeing to a ep of 115-120 on their revisions when the offices clearly dont want them and its clearly against national union policy?
Can someone senior from Glasgow answer why they are agreeing to such high ep??

Re: Glasgow and District Amal
In the words of Zammo...just say no.
Use the IR framework and when it gets to stage 3 ask your Divisional Rep why GDA is encouraging ridiculous and unsustainable EP levels as a starting point for a revision.
If he can't answer your question ask to speak to a national officer.

Re: Glasgow and District Amal
It's a way of measuring office performance as P13 says similar to BSI but old school.
80-90 is about normal,100 is a manager's wet dream and anything over that can only be achieved by skipping meal relief and starting early and basically cooking the books.
I did hear that an office around the Tranent/Dalkieth area reported an EP of 130.

we did that, he refered us to area rep again, so we did go national, 3 letters no 2 sent registered and as of yet no response over 6 weeks down the line!

I think part of the BSI 100 problem is managers in the past were fiddling the offices EP in order to make their offices look goodfishtank wrote:It's a way of measuring office performance as P13 says similar to BSI but old school.

Re: Glasgow and District Amal
I think that's exactly the problem and when the guidance for setting the indoor performance came along it stated that All units should plan on the basis of improving or at least maintaining their current performance which kind of left managers and offices deep in the s**t.P13 wrote:I think part of the BSI 100 problem is managers in the past were fiddling the offices EP in order to make their offices look goodfishtank wrote:It's a way of measuring office performance as P13 says similar to BSI but old school.

Organise and hit the gate, that should make sure some awkward questions are answered.
What you can't do is accept this bollocks because it will leave your office in bits.

its half and half, there was talk of it a few weeks ago but no much now, to be honest the work loads are unmanagable and the dom is out on a regular basis delivering the cut offs,

Re: Glasgow and District Amal
Could someone explain this EP and BSI and is there a document that details how this is to be agreed in the 6 phase revision process.

Re: Glasgow and District Amal
Part of the problem is the fact they can validate their spurious figures.
This isn't simply a problem with "EP".
This is down to the fact that the West of Scotland has never properly embraced the IWT.
They take the bits they like and ditch the bits that clash with their beloved capacity plan.
