I've composed a longish email to the justsayit@royalmail.com which hits home some truths about the crap that is happening at our office. I was just wondering whether I could CC it to anyone else as I don't want it to just get deleted. Do IB have an email address or anyone high up that is known?

Send it to your branch and HQ as well Billy.
If your office is a state and it's a genuine appraisal the union should know as well.

it will not get deleted! i contacted moyas team after problems at our office,the issue is flagged down the chain of command,so you will find your manager will have to report back within 24 hours,ultimately the 'problem' was solved

Thanks chaps I'll send it and see if things get any better. Does the DOM get to see the email too? I'm just worried he will have us all in and demand to be told who sent it!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

sorry for late reply,yes your DOM will definitely get a copy of your e-mail,you obviously feel strongly enough to put your name to your complaint /issue,i personally wouldn't worry about any reprisal ,you always have the grievance procedure available ,besides if your argument is well constucted your manager will have enough to worry about,in my experience it is taken seriously and you are invited to contact them again if it's not satisfactorily resolved,hope things work out
