Hi Guys ,

Could any body give me an idea of total outdoor times as we are due to deploy soon and i think the times we are expected to be out is excessive , for instance on an average model week (16th lowest) just short of 6 hours on a rural van share ?

According to the last thing I read, it was 8 hours outdoor time for a rural van. We haven't had a revision yet and we have over 5 hour deliveries at the moment so I would assume they could have any time they think you have available.

To be fair the only difference with a lot of 'rurals', at least in my area, is just distance from the office. Yes there are some deep rurals with lots of farms but most are just park and loop singleton van deliveries in large villages which could easily be van share routes.

Our office is 12 weeks into park n loop duties .The delivery span is 4h30mins, and still the arses want you to lapse , place is a joke run by jokers ,not enough time to prep frames and all we hear is your not going fast enough ! Out on the street it's just the same , lost count the amount of time ive brought mail back as we can't complete it within the duty time ;--(

If your office is now on P&L you should'nt be lapsing. All hours should've been utilised in the P&L revision. They are taking the piss!

Part of the Pay & Mod agreement.....voted in by the members.
Also,you'll be lucky to get away with just 9 weeks.And have you got extra holiday slots,that's part of the same agreement as well,but that bit always gets overlooked. :cuppa
