This is for a 5 day week and after 15 years you get 25 days not 26. My office is on 4 day week and we get...

so it is 4 weeks 2.5 days then an extra day then 5 weeks and then 6 weeks. The PSP system does do it in hours though

it changes on the park n loop system though. im currently on 23 days(just under 20yrs service) it used to be 26 days or 5 weeks 1 day. but because we work longer days(8hrs 50min) we loose 3 days. ive asked our branch about this, they say it should be 23 and a half. so im sure they are fleecing people of a half a day each year. people with 20yrs get 6 weeks or 30 days but this is reduced to 27 because of the longer days. but they should be on 27 and a half. again robbed of a half a day. this is all mounting up in rm favour, but nowt seems to be done about it.

longer days has nothing to do with it, its number of days. so if ur 20years service ppl are getting 27days then i assume your average number of days per week is 4.5. so your on a 9 day fortnight or the 1 in 4 weeks off. both = an average of 4.5 days and 4.5days X 6 weeks = 27days a/l. i suppose another way to look at it would be to convert the days to decimals of the 5 day working week its calculated from, so obviously a half week is 0.5 weeks, 3.5days is 0.7 weeks, and 1 day is0.2 weeks, so now u can just multiple your average weekly attence in days by either 4.5,4.7,5.2 or 6.then of course round it to the nearest half day.

of course i may be wrong with all the psp changes but surly if psp changes our holiday entitlement amounts(not just converts it) we should have had that clearly explained to us and it to have been agreed by the union nationally.
