Roller beds in packet sorting areas?

And this is a WCM thingy................but there's still not enough space for our packets, don't know how we're going to get a mini york out of the middle to empty it and then replace it to be filled again.

Craigavon isn`t working. Towns leaving mail everyday. Lapsing Mondays and Tuesdays (including delivering D2D`s), not paid buff on Tuesdays. Bullying and intimidation as bad as ever. Two senior managers visited last week to hear peoples views, apparently Portadown were only allowed 15 minutes while Lurgan didn`t get to ask any questions!

Too late. It`s in and failing miserably. So, no 1 in 4 Saturdays off as per agreement and 07.30 start despite agreement saying no later start than 07.00.

If these 2 guys are not taking packets from a sleeve to sort, does that mean that there has to be a third man/woman/person to take the packets from the sleeve and put them on the rollerbed? If so a saving of 4 minutes per sleeve is knocked into touch.

Tell me 'bout it. it seems gets you classed as a troublemaker for daring to disagree or challenge one of their ideas. Which makes me a troublemaker in their eyes.

Guys in our section were told "move your mail from there to over there, it's safer." by one pillar. The next pillar comes in and says "Why are you having to walk all the way over there to get mail, that's wasting valuable sorting time?

I'm assuming this isn't a motorised roller bed in which case what happens when you get the york with 500 Dove samples in it?...they won't slide nicely along the bed like the carefully chosen and positioned packets in the picture.
That roller bed is a waste of feckin money which will no doubt be lying gathering dust in the corner of the D.O. before the end of July.

I totally fail to see how this offers any improvement over DBF sorting. It takes up 4 times the space and only 2 people can work on it instead of 4. The mini yorks don't really hold much more than a sack does so need changing just as often and its a pain in the arse to do that.
