Union walking limit

So as a point of interest... and I do not suppose that it is the case...

Does the union have any agreement of the maximum miles that a postie can be expected to walk a day or week....?

Based on average logic there must be a maximum expectation to doing most things...

Lorry and coach drivers have max driving limit

Do posties have an excepted walk limit if not why not...as it the most important part of the job ...walking.

Surely health and safety must be involved as walks get longer ...?

walk till u drop then get up and walk some more dont think the union give a f**k . and if you dont get up and walk some more i.e need time off to recover then you can have a stage for your trouble

then you come back,take a break and go out with another full delivery+lapsing
still 3 hours?

then you come back,take a break and go out with another full delivery+lapsing
still 3 hours?

No IPS, prep mail and D2Ds only takes 45 to 75 minutes, can be out the door in 1 to 2 hours........so delivery can be long and unlikely to only last 3 hours (although it has done on one particular Tuesday).

your to efficient dgp1. you need to become more of a Luddite like me. and when your as old as me your need to go to the bog about ten times every shift, so this will slow you down.
