New Starters .

Have noticed for a while now that all the new recruits in our area, are either under 25 or female. Okay i can understand that.But i am angry at the fact that Doms constantly pick on them to do extra work . The new starters are on rolling 3 months contracts, but are to afraid to say NO ! In case they lose there job.

Does that justsayit address actually have any pull? Or do they just delete any emails that contain a complaint in them? I've wanted to use it for a while now but I can't see it even being read

Exactly my point. If they turn round and say no to Dom. It,s BYE BYE then . I am an oldie postie and i have seen some good youngsters who are willing to learn the job but get p*****d about by management.

You can use the justsayit thing but you will have to name the office,give it a go and see what happens,they do look at all the emails sent.
I get replies like the below,they will fob you off if you don't name the office where the problem is.
They do not send out,''Ohhh that's naughty and your screw sounds like a right cock and that shouldn't be happening'' type replies.

It depends on why you were "forced" to resign. To be honest although you can probably apply again it would have an adverse impact on your recruitment anyway, as the records are kept centrally so the reason for your resignation would be known.

As only you know the reasons behind you resigning only you can judge how severe the mistakes were. But for minor mistakes you would have to have a very strong case showing you had learned from those mistakes and that they were unlikely to be repeated again.

If however, it was a delay of mail type mistake - then sorry in my estimation you would have no chance, or a very very very slim chance of being set on again, even in another office.

hi thanks for advice spoke to union rep he said i could still apply with royalmail as long as it was not at the office i was in before
