Just wondered how many of you had used their services. If so, how much did they get for you?
I know they like to charge (41p in the pound)
I'm pretty sure you can also do this for free yourself but i'm not sure how.

I'm not sure how but you can do it yourself.
I guess you have to make sure you are on the right tax code and then check you are receiving all your allowances.
The tax office can go back 6 years I think so if you have been paying too much tax for a while you could be entitled to a tidy sum.
They are actually quite helpful at the tax office and honest about paying back what they owe but 41 Pence in the pound sounds like a rip off to me.
Imagine if you found you were entitled to £1500 back, that 41 Pence in the pound would suddenly be a large amount of money to give away.

DIY through MSE (MONEYSAVINGEXPERT) but I doubt you'll be owed anything.
Why are lino's paid full-time ??

Just phone HMRC, I recently got a cheque for £1600 after a 10 minute conversation with them. the fella I spoke with was even nice, polite and helpful.

I had reason to call HMRC and they where great. I have never come accross a call centre so helpfull and polite

dont use a company to do it for you.
if you think you are owed money speak to hmrc.
they do seem to take wa while.
