If the tests are anything like the ones we had they are pointless for a few reasons;1,the Tanita scales have an additional setting for people who do a lot of training,my resting heart rate is 42bpm and I should have been tested on the athlete setting which is for people who have a resting heart rate below 60bpm.2,before taking blood pressure readings you should have relaxed for 5 mins and ideally they should take the readings of both arms not just the right arm as a result of this botched test I came out as having 19% body fat and 21 kg overweight, a week previous I had a check up at the doctors for an upcoming endurance race and was found to have 8.6 body fat,on a scale of 1 to 12 visercal fat I was 6 and my physique rating was 9.IMHO the tests that we had are dangerous in so much as someone who doesn't know any better if told that they are 20kgs overweight they would go on a crash diet and possibly even develop an eating disorder.I am 13st 7lbs and 6ft tall so take 21kg from that = 10st 5lbs.
