Bank holiday credit

Hi there , just a quick question
I work part time , (monday/friday/saturday), on a 22 hour contract.

Holiday is worked out on a pro-rata basis.

Am I entitled to holiday pay for the Queens Jubilee (tuesday), as it was my day off should I be given a day off in lieu ?

Huh ?, the bank holiday monday was my working day.
So I got paid holiday pay for that.

But as Tuesday was my day off, should I get a holiday credit to be taken at another time ?

you get half a day credit if you work less than 24 hours a week for each bank holiday that would have been your day off

Most years your entitlement will be 22/40 X 8...this year it will be X 9.
That is all.

you get paid and get the day back simple. i dont think you can class tue wed thu has days off on a part time contract It would be like a saturday only part timer trying to claim mon to fri back

a full timer would get a day in lieu for the monday . is suppose in a way in royal mail there is no holiday pay as such you just get paid every week even if on annual leave
