Having received a pro rata bonus recently, can I insist on taking a pro rata amount of mail out on delivery?

I take out the sames D2D's that everyone else does, I have to prep them myself into my frame BUT I still get less than people on more hours!!!

Why do Part timers who work 5 days contrated still get pro rata for bonuses and delivery supplement ?
When it used to be 4 days 8 hours then that was fine but when we were changed to 6.5 hours over 5 days on P/L you are delivering the same D2D's as fulltime staff.

But wouldn't you be paid a better hourly rate than those working more hours than you.

Its called a Delivery Supplement because it encompasses all delivery work not just the actual Delivery.

Just to add to the debate, what would happen to the extra pay PTimers get when they do docket up to FT hour instead of getting more DS.

From what the PTimers tell me in my office apparently your hourly rate for the overtime goes up, the extra is the DS for your overtime.

I lost 15 hours a week!!!

started on a 40 hour contract, two weeks before my first year was up, I received a loverly letter saying " well done, you are now on a 25 hour contract "

I personally lost approx £30 a week on D2Ds and £12 on ESA and gained £20 - total lost £22. 30hr PTimers did not get ESA but lost £30 on D2Ds and got £16 on DS - for a loss of £14.

That's not specific to full / part timers though!

I'm part time and always have been, I lost both D2D & ESA and gained only £16. The only difference between myself and a full timer is that they do more indoor work. I prep all of my D2D and deliver all of them too along with all of the mail; meaning that I should receive 100% 'delivery' supplement because I'm 'delivering' 100% of the mail.

The points the same those who had ESA1 and ESA2 lost more than those who didn't get it irrespective of their hours. Most posties at my gaff (and some posters on here) seem to think that the Delivery Supplement was a direct swap from D2D to DS - it wasn't.
