That sounds fair. I've never come across something as fair as that where I work, usually a very ad hoc affair i.e. the first person the DOM bumps into when the 'crisis' occurs.

But where is the fairness in that i work out in the sticks in a small office when there is overtime going in the main office we don't get to know about it and to be honest i'm thinking of taking a grievence out because we are told nothing.Everweek there is a list where you put your name down to state what days you can do OT i fill this out but yet get none and i know others in the main office aregetting it.Before i get replies of go to the union...the deputy union rep is the main OT king.

I am affraid that OT is rarely fair within RM.
The grabbers, flyers and guvs favs normally get the lions share in our office

If your CWU then speak to your rep about the problem and see if that works.

I can't believe that none of your offices have a dedicated overtime officer. We do, he is payed 10 hours SA for the pleasure. Overtime sheet goes up on the board on a Thursday for the following week then its offered out based on lowest aggregate.

Blimey 10 hours a week. Not even our rep gets any OT.

In our office we get forced to work overtime and harrassed and bullied if you say you need to cut off at your contracted hours. If you go ahead and actually follow through on cutting off you're hauled upstairs and interrogated / made to feel like s**t by the dom and, in some instances, are then told you'll never be offered overtime ever again.
