As far as i'm aware it was 17 but it has since gone up.
It makes sense since packet volume has increased since 2010.
Hopefully it will continue to go up.

The easy calculation is they give you 4 seconds per delivery point

If they factored in say 10 packets per 500 delivery points but you were receiving 40 then they would build in time for a further 30.

If they factored in say 30 packets per 500 delivery points but you were receiving 40 then they would build in time for a further 10.

As long as at the end of the day they factor the time for 40 packets it doesn't matter which stage it goes in at,default or manual adjustment.
Having a higher default position means overall the office gets more time because let's be honest no rep is going to flag up to a planner that duty 14 or whatever only gets an average of 5 attendance calls per 500.

FFS...lol, I get about 70-80 attendance calls per day on a sub 400 call duty.

At the end of the day if they put in that you're only getting 10 attendance calls when you're getting 30/40 then it's just means that you need to cut off/leave behind/book OT.

No the problem is if the 2 duty holders of a P&L duty don't take all packets - there isn't a driving duty to sweep up the oversize like there was before P&L.

The idea of P&L is that all packets and tracked items for their duties are taken out. If the packet is too big for the walking man of the pair then the designated driver should deliver it. As far as I know this is allowed for in the Driver having slightly smaller loops.
