having loads of trouble in our offfice with lapsing.
some people cant complete there duty and do there lapsing due to short day or to much mail. The dom is telling us we must do the lapsing and must cut out mail on our duty ie miss out 2nd class and s or mail sort so we can do our 20min of lapsing. Any one know the rules on this lapsing crap.
He's streaming the mail, report it to the union rep who will report it up to area rep and then up further, we had this before but now it's stopped because they're not allowed to do it.
You could also send Moya a quick e-mail if it continues and get her view on it.

As DGP and Whiteant have said streaming mail is a major no no and i believe managers have been sacked for allowing it to happen , maybe a quick email to the Chief Executive might put a stop to it
Lapsing/absorbing SHOULD NOT affect QOS as well,this s**t along with the other s**t should be flagged up asap.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

what about leaving parcels off your duty to do lapsing as this is what happens at our office .
