after our revision at CHESTER DELIVERY office every morning its moan moan moan from most sections but by far the worst are rural deliver staff who moan about having to do sorting for about 20 mins a day which is not in the duty planner well here is what could stop you having to sort daily. if you come in at your start time i.e 7.30 instead of 6.30 ish you wouldnt then have the time to be asked to sort. also if you all took your breaks before you leave the office instead of working into your break time to complete your deliveries you wouldnt be so stressed out every day . its so simple also we could then get the true reading on the time the deliveries take and so will your managers U GET MY DRIFT

I figure that if I'm late, then I am only balancing things out...

Mind you, I would have to be VERY late to truely equalize things up.

i often wonder where the early birds ( charity workers) in royal mail offices stand i.e are they covered by royal mail insurance while doing (charity work ) before their start time ? if they were involved in an accident while doing their charity work would they be able to make a claim ???? i think not as the simple fact and answer would be they shouldnt of been on royal mail property before their start time i.e 6.30 7.30 ect

A guy in our work decided to come in early at 6.15am instead of his 6.30am start time just to change a bald tyre !!!
You dont get a checkout girl at Tescos coming in early to repair her till if its broken ???
we are working with a load of tossers

pissedoffpete, i think its common knowledge you are talking about the ch3 s. i find it strange that you are so concerned about the rural s coming in early and not giving a true reading on delivery times, well the rural s aren't having their deliveries monitored and are completing. you seem to be after fairness in the work place but forgot to mention that almost half of your section were bringing mail back because they were sat in sainsburys cafe all morning and quite happy to pass more work onto others, do you think that gives a true reading of delivery times. or are YOU one of the sainsburys six.... get MY drift. stop your curtain twitching get on with your own job and don't look any further than your own section because that's were your problems are .
