SUPPLY CHAIN BONUS
Word has filtered through from Glasgow that the remainder of the bonus from last year will be paid at end of May which is this month. This bonus was part paid last year and it was said that if on target then the remainder would follow the following year which means now. As our union rep [Edinburgh] has heard nothing about this news, can anyone on the forum please enlighten me if the bonus is getting paid out and when. Thanks alot if you can as i can inform my other crew mates some good news.

Re: SUPPLY CHAIN BONUS
Having spoke to HR yesterday the bonus "if it is to be paid" will be paid at the end of June. No announcement has been made about how much if any and HR have their hands tied until the announcement is officially made.Obviously the source from Glasgow presumably the Union rep is unreliable???????????????? Why would a Union rep at one depot know more than another? Seems to me there is either a bullshitter as a union rep at Glasgow or the decision to pay the bonus at the end of May (this was never mentioned in the last agreement) has been reversed!!!!!!
Your union rep should be talking to the other union reps in your area and beyond to establish that they all know the same and share with the members, seems the Edinburgh union rep is not really doing his job properly!!and that the union rep at Glasgow is a complete wind up merchant!!!!!!

Re: SUPPLY CHAIN BONUS
Thanks for that information alioflash. I thought if it was to be paid as well as our rep that it would be june. I agree that the info from a crewmember in glasgow was obviously mince. I take it that the letter will inform us about the positive or negative result. Thanks again as I can pass this info onto our crew members.

No: 490 Ref: 101a Date: 27th June 2012

Dear Colleague,
Post Office Admin / Supply Chain - Balance Scorecard 2011/12 Bonus Payment
I am pleased to advise that our members working in Post Office Admin functions and Supply Chain have exceeded their annual target performance for the 2011/12 financial year. As a consequence, all members will receive a “stretch” bonus payment, which out-turned at 114% of overall target, in their wages/salaries at the end of June.
An integral part of the three year pay agreement (2011/14) for our members working in the Post Office, Admin functions and Supply Chain was to create a new annual bonus scheme. The bonus target allowed for an on target performance, annual payment for Year One (2011/12) of £850 (pro-rata for part-timers). For Postal Assistants in Supply Chain, who received an enhanced pay rise, the on target performance, annual payment for year one was £700 per annum (pro-rata for part-timers). The agreement also allowed for a further “stretch” potential of up to 25% in all three years.
As a consequence, our members (except Supply Chain PAs) will receive in total £974 (£850 was the on target amount). £500 of £974 was paid upfront in December 2011 as part of the pay agreement; therefore, members will receive the remainder payment of £474 (pro-rata for part-timers) paid at the end of this month.
Supply Chain Postal Assistants
Postal Assistants (Supply Chain) will receive in total £802 (£700 was their on-target amount). £500 of the £802 was paid upfront in December 2011 as part of the pay agreement; therefore, our Postal Assistant members will receive the remainder payment of £302 (pro-rata for part-timers), paid at the end of this month.
HR Service Centre – Farnworth
Members in HR Service Centre who are not part of the balanced scorecard bonus scheme, will continue to receive their previously agreed scheme, which will pay £750 (pro-rata for part-timers) for performance over the last year. This is on top of the four quarterly payments of £250 which have been paid each quarter for the last year. This will also be paid at the end of this month.
The extra money arising from the bonus schemes is excellent news and I am sure it will be gratefully received by our members. Two tailored joint statements have been published today advising all members of these benefits. The joint statements are attached to this LTB.
Any queries in relation to this LTB, please contact Claire Bowers on 020 8971 7361 or cbowers@cwu.org.
Yours sincerely
