Hired Vehicles

Post by CADET86 »

Hi
I want to start a debate about hired vehicles. At my office we have 5 hired hgv units which have been sat in our yard for 7 weeks and not been used. Apparently they have been hired for christmas. Ive heard a rumour that they cost in the region of £550 a week to hire. So far that is a total of £19,250 just in our office.
Does anybody know of anymore vehicles that have been hired and not been used?
At a time when Royal Mail say they have no money to fund a pay rise.

Is it for christmas or is there another motive do you think? 7 weeks is pretty close to when the IA started.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
