When should you complain?

Post by Lazycarton »

I have a walk that is mainly steep drives and steps, some long ones such that your thighs are burning when you reach the top. Coming down is often as hard as going up. There is one at the end of the round that is so steep that when coming down my feet are forced right to the front of my shoes and it is really painful on the ankles as well because of the angle.

I feel that a lot of these drives should be done in a van.

Then don't worry about it, if you're pushing yourself by running up and down then slow down, otherwise just relax and enjoy working to your time.

So we just accept that all rounds are deemed reasonable for all ages?

Yep, I only say this because I'm on a duty with steps and hills in the hundreds, it has broken several people but I take it easy, don't rush and am coping fine with it.

Just been reading some of the documents behind the links and had to say I've been havin' a good old laugh. Who ever wrote that Powerpoint presentation was living in cloud cockooland. "Ensure staff take a drink and snacks" etc
