I have worked for Royal Mail as a postwoman for 11 years now, could anyone tell me how many holidays i am entitled to, thanks

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

no I wouldn't think so. It's a more complicated system than RM may think with longs, shorts etc. For example Tues to Thurs I work 5.5 hrs - Saturdays just 3 - sooooooooo if I took 5 saturdays @ 3 hours I would be owed 1 day @ 5 hrs...... It was a system adopted at a previous firm I worked and it was a real ball ache at the end of the financial year. I had to arrange to bring people in for a half day holiday or pay overtime for 2/3/4 hours.
