We're getting £100 now but in return for it we have to give up £10 a week in our wages for the rest of our time in royal mail. That's the normal sort of deal we get isnt it?

have you started p&l yet you wont be danceing and singing when you do , weve been doing it in our office for 2 years now and is still a nightmare , its not all about money mate , wait and see you wont be thanking the cwu then, enjoy spending it.

Facts are you get £100 for full time pro rata for part time for nothing. From Christmas 2013 you will get £200 christmas bonus on a permanent basis pro rata for part time.

All current bonuses PBS , ICS , time bonus are protected and the new scheme will be devloped in the phase 3 talks which will staff will have a an opportunity to vote on.

I would like to belive it but I can see it now, Royal Mail and the cwu come up with some new agreement and the cwu will sell it to us by saying "We've already negotiated a £100 june bonus and an extra £100 christmas bonus, so it's a good deal to except because of that"
Does anybody else feel that although money is a very important issue, after all it's the only reason we come to work, but that the union should be doing more to sort out the main problem its members have and that is working conditions? I'm fed up with coming home from work and feeling like a 90 year old man because I'm out delivering for 5 or more hours. What happend to the maximum delivery span of 3 1/2 hours? when and more importantly WHY did the union agree to this change?

yes your right the main problem is the what delivery work is and the working conditions , but the cwu seem to concentrate on money , i dont care if i dont get any extra money but the way we work are sxxt to put it blunt.

Yep. Im with You on this one.I dont care about the money at the moment.Im just interested in the ludicrus work load we have.The way we have to work is making people ill in my office and no one gives a toss
