Dom wants us to prep next weeks D2D's on a saturday morning .

How does he want you to prep them.

Nesting :no no - Nesting them on delivery is not allowed so why would they instruct you do this. You would have to "de-nest" them at some point - seems a pointless exercise.

Placing into frame after clear down. Possibly okay but a nightmare for them to confirm a clear office.

Placing them into the frame before clear down - Surely not that would mean some would be delivered out of spec.

Had talk today and D2D subject came up, we have to sign a sheet stating when and amount of D2D are done and all D2D have been done. The floaters do not sign it. I was told if I had an issue with that then I have to get the floater to sign it too. :arrrghhh

Floaters don't sign......then you don't sign,how the hell does that work anyway?

I just thought it was a standard form, it lists all the streets on walk , we have had it for years, I do not sign it for I would be lying as I do not deliver all the D2D. All the others with duties sign it off. I have tried to explain that you should not sign off D2D if you have not delivered them. Yet again I am made to look as if I am causing trouble.

We had a form like that weekly when we were paid for Door To Doors but I've not seen one since June 2010.

thats the form we are still using, does anyone else use them or how does your office control the DD

We dont use them, d2ds are very poorly monitored. Last week i was taking 25% per day on each of the 4 different walks i had. Most other folks i talked to just took the standard 1/6th and people doing docket didnt take any for the bit they covered. Shambles.

DOM here has stuck a piece of paper to each frame showing which roads equal 1/6th of the D2D that need to be done each day. You sign that you've completed that 1/6th each day. As another person said "shambles". Some do it all in one day others over a couple of days some only 1/6th a day yet there are still a a fair few left over at the end of the week. DOM is threatening to make people throw off 1/6th into the frame each day so it can be checked. We'll see :Very Happy

D2D quality is the "hot ticket" at management meetings right now.
From what i gather anything over a 1% "failure" rate has to be reported to DSM level.
No more local destruction allowed.

Form to be filled in lists all the streets but not the days to deliver them but you do have to sign that you have done them, now we also have to take back our spare D2Ds and explain why we have extra left :hmmmm Of course the MC staff who bundle them are never wrong with their counts (some times I have extra, sometimes I'm short)

We have new sheets to sign to say we delivered that days D2D's and stickers on frame indicating which sections are to be done on which day.

We still use the old sheets with the road names listed. We sign it on a Friday and hand it in.

Our lino comes round every day and checks you have thrown in 20%

If i get back 5-10 mins early i throw the next days in, if not i do it in the morning before IPS
