annual leave and the duty roster
Hi all, I have my holiday card and it says correctly that I have next week off, but according to the duty roster on the board Im due to work next week?. I think I should make my Dom aware or is my leave not allowed?.

Just tell him, it's probably just an oversight on his part.
Or more sinisterly he did it on purpose and expects you to forgo your week off until a time that suits him.
If it suits you to change your week do so but i'd have your alternate week rostered in there and then in case he has another case of "oversightedness"

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Malta is nice. Have a trip around the harbour. Dont book excursions do them all yourself. The local busses are very cheap, but like the flintstones. Holes in the floor. Make sure you go to Gozo. On the holiday front, if your holiday sheet says your off i would just go. Wait for the phonecall asking where you are, then tell them where to go. They're mistake not yours.
