I've put myself forward for ill health retirement, as I 'm no longer up to doing the job,but what I wat to know is what will be the offer ? I've got 12 years service and I'm on a 30hr contract ?

If it's IHR with lump sum it's 34 weeks pay plus 12 weeks PILON plus any outstanding annual leave.

No, you can put yourself forward for IHR if you feel you are no longer up to the job and have doctors,physios,consultants, podiatrists, etc, who can confirm this. The final decision lies with a RM doctor.

Only a lawyer could advise you on that but it would be difficult unless you could show negligence and any claim for injury would be time barred at 3 years....it could also be expensive.

Had a over the phone assessment today and at the end was told that it's too early to consider IHR and that IHR is not a option at the moment.
