bike helmets

just a quick question if i use my own bike to ride to work and back home after my shift .would i need to have a royal mail helmet on .if some one could tell me thanks

I would say no as you are not in their time anymore, you are in your own time, same as saying do I have to wear a seatbelt in my own car when driving home really

What abOut if you cycle to and from work on your royal mail bike.
Then count yourself lucky you havn't started this van sharing s**t !

I've seen two different managers, after work, walking through town (in plain clothes) with their "MANAGER" hi-vis on. Was mildly embarrassed for them.
