Its only been listed since we went over to PSP, ie new payroll number etc

Yes it never appeared on the old pay slips, for some reason they have started to put it on the new slips.
At least on the new pay slips you know now you are purchasing annual leave.
On the old pay slips you did not know if you were or were not purchasing annual leave.
