Hi, just wondered if the monday 4th and tuesday 5th where days off? can anyone confirm please?

If your day off falls on either one of those 2 days, will you be given a day in lieu? Or is it tough poop and lump it?

i Am covering a duty next week, jubilee week, which has this weds as the dutys day off,well as per usual it has been changed to the bank holiday monday,now this has happened frequently when am covering a duty as a reserve! Where do i stand i thought you should take that day off that the duty you pick up!Should i stand my ground and say i want that weds off.,

You are entitled to the duties day off i would demand that day off and if your manager refuses stick a grievance form in

have aproached him with our union rep before xmas when he kept doing same thing with a saturday if i picked up that duty would say he couldnt cover the saturday so would change Day off to another,and also same with over bank hols giving me that as a day off instead of dutys Day off, i know that being a reserve you do get messed about a bit, but just would like same entitlements that others with their own dutys get!

They should not be messing you about , your only option really is to put a grievance form in
