The cause of the congestion was a staffie dog wandering in the road.
Being the kind hearted person that I am, and knowing where the dog has come from, I go and collect him, pick him up and carry him to his house.
We got on great, had a fuss and all was well.
The old lady in the garden didn't know he had followed her out of the house and was most grateful, I left the dog with her in the garden.Because I could see her hands were mucky from gardening, I carried on to put the mail through the letter box........... upon hearing the letter box rattle the dogs ears stand up
and thinks ..... "hang on, you're the bloke I bark at every morning ! " Runs up to me, goes mad and tries to bite my trousers. So much for being a good Samaritan.
