Just wondering what the procedure is if you were to have a complaint against yourself a couple of times for mis delivering?

I've made the stupid mistake a few times, just purely because im trying to work quicker than im ready for i guess (only been in the job 2.5 months), its been once from a missort 14 one street and 14 another street and once from streets following on but with the last number and first being the same, i'm rushing to much and just looked at the number ugh!
Had two customer complaints and was told it would go on my record and if i do it again in the next six weeks id be called to the office to have a chat about how to resolved the problem, am annoyed at myself for doing it but i know it will be almost impossible not to do it again unless i slow down which will hold up the other person im doing p and l with, plus i want to try and pull my weight....

They mean you should be able to read the address and deliver it in your time because reading it while you are walking or rushing is a risk to your safety, at each door you have time to check as pointed out by the WTL videos. Which is bollocks obviously but that's how the job is supposed to be done until you get the sack.

Go at a pace that suits you and do the job properly.
If your partner is rushing around thats his problem he will just have to wait or deliver another packet

In answer to the original OP, people only usually complain when they have nothing better to do (or it's always happening) so you should now know those addresses and be more careful with them and the warnings........don't worry about it, we've all had them, all they will do is give you some counselling, which is basically asking you how it's happening (correct answer is 'don't know' ) and they'll tell you not to do it again...........it should be left at that.

As long as you're coming in and not causing too many troubles for your manager then you'll be ok, don't worry about it

Learn the names of the occupants.

So at 14 Church Street, it's the Thompsons and at 14 Church Close, it's the Coopers (or whatever).

It works for me.
