london 2012 tracked item

got a text saying my tracked item from london 2012 as been delivered ,i presume they mean to my local delivery office -i havent sent for any tickets-possible scam?

2012 tickets are coming as tracked items , but RM will not text you about delivery status. Not sure if the ticket office may text to comfirm items are sent and due today but if you've not ordered any it could be a scam or someone entered their mobile number wrong when they ordered tickets.

Yes on delivering one 'Signature Required Tracked' I was told that she had had an email sayiing when it would be delivered.
It was a large plain white card envelope, PPI Manchester, with no mention of 'London 2012' on it.

Sounds like a scam to get you to reply to the text which then costs you a fortune.

Yes on delivering one 'Signature Required Tracked' I was told that she had had an email sayiing when it would be delivered.
It was a large plain white card envelope, PPI Manchester, with no mention of 'London 2012' on it.

Those are the olympic tickets :) I cant believe you haven't been told what they are. They are making a massive deal out of them in our area. They are handed out seperately and have to be signed for. Even the MC drivers have to get them signed over when they arrive at the DO which doesn't happen for anything else.

and yes if people gave their mobile number when they ordered they will get a text message when the item is scanned in at the DO in the morning to say it is out for delivery.

They just get treated the same as any other signature required Tracked. I'm surprised that they didn't send them out special delivery as Tracked items get processed in the normal sorting hall and not in the RLE lockers. Heard that if they don't get all the scans they should get all the way, they become invalid (don't know if that's true). Hope the PDAs in DOs and MCs have fully working batteries and download the data scanned properly

Haven't been told anything, and I would still have no idea if one of the recipients hadn't told me.
