hi,,,on the long road to an office revision at my place,,,this morning d.o.m has us watching another propergander video,,,,which this time shows Durham D.O after there revision and 3 or 4 ppl there saying how you have to work together to get a fair and balanced job...bla bla... think the stars names are Alister and Tracey......is this the case at Durham is everything that good up there and the revision is great so making me happy that ours will be the same

why do i reckon there actors in that video,,,,maybe after a few years working for the r.m you dont trust anybody above you

I do believe our original revision was based on the experiences of Durham.................................but things didn't quite turn out the way it was portrayed.

I know Durham was one of trial areas for P&L dunno how its going now i remember the video though and it did look fake.

Personally i don't think P&L is the nightmare that is often portrayed on these forums.

If you get paired with a decent partner, I think P&L is a better way of working.

As for the video it was a posties utopian dream. If i remember rightly there was no traffic, traffic lights, gates,hills and Parking problems. The customers were always at home and answered the door in about 10 seconds. Also Looking at their trolleys they had vitually no mail to deliver.

they also showed pegasus was used to determine the calls,,,,,,,,i was lead to believe pegasus flopped a couple of years ago,,,possibly cos it wasnt making things harder for us LOL
