transfer to letters from parcel force

Hi

Ive seen a job advertised in royal mail letters but i am working at parcel force is there anything stopping me from transfering..
Any silly rules that might get in the way

Don't think so - its been done in the past so can't see why not.

try fixed term temprary contracts they would expect you to downgrade to

if you have a full time contract with parcel force then guard it with your life

having heard what goes on at PF from a driver I think its a sane move.

Piece rate, owner driver, cover own leave and sickness - this is one case where our grass is greener, with a large dollop of brown, but still greener.

Unfortunately within deliveries there is not a lot of driving only jobs left, and those that are are disappearing fast.

You'd probably have to go to collections, or to the Mail Centre side, but even then in an MC I think you'd probably need a 600 license minimum.

Driving (and distribution) in MCs is going over to logistics.
