im a 25 hour part timer but ive been doing full time for the last 2 years on the delivery collection shifts, ive recently been put on a shift that the walk canot be done in time cutting into my break time before i do my collection, yesterday i cut off, phoned the dom up and said ill not make collection he told me to cut off as collection was not to be failed, went in 2day moved off shift put back to part time hours next week, the boy who did it before me started 45 mins early every day and used his car instead of bike,so he completed every day with no probs, ive been getting constant hassle over this as how cant u manage so and so did, thinking off puting a grievance in, the cutt off situation im unsure of as dom was wanting to interview me 2day but i refused as no rep was there, eve tho he said cutt of hes making out im at fault, i have a tx of him saying to cutt off, whats your thoughyts?

no i start at 10 and do a full delivery which is to big plus a lapsed bit on bike then return to d.o then have 40 min break then do some traks n collection at 4-6 but the walk is far to big i cut off at 3.20 after doom sed to with bout n hours work still left was hamered, my office is full of idiots who come in early and use cars so i cant compete time wise with them, but i get harased as why i cant get work done, there are two off us who do these shifts, the other is out the door before i even come in were both due to start at same time, my floater is also like this so im only 1 who cant do it n time

Tell him that you will come in the same time as the other postman that comes in early if he pays you.
I get the same hassle on delivery where the Dom says the same old chestnut about the floater on your day off finishes on time.
When I said that I take a meal relief and dont come in early he has now told me not to do inward prep and stay at my frame .
This has really pissed off the early starters
